CalvertHealth has named accomplished healthcare executive Larisa Goganzer, MSN, RN, FACHE as senior vice president of operations. She brings more than 30 years of experience in operational leadership, most recently with AtlantiCare, the largest healthcare system in southern New Jersey with more than 6,500 staff and providers and 100 locations.
“CalvertHealth is extremely fortunate to attract someone with Ms. Goganzer’s credentials,” said CalvertHealth President and CEO Jeremy Bradford. “She is a strategic and quality-driven leader with vast healthcare experience.”
He went on to add, “She brings a strong track record of building relationships, with a collaborative leadership style focused on fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.”
Goganzer has extensive expertise in healthcare operations including clinical functions, facility management, construction and real estate, resource allocation and performance optimization. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the health system and overseeing key service lines including nursing, professional and support services, clinical services, performance improvement, risk management and information services.

Goganzer plans to reside in Prince Frederick with her husband of 31 years. They have three children and enjoy spending time outdoors either at the beach or traveling in their RV.
