Pathway to Nursing

If you’re interested in obtaining your nursing degree and becoming an RN, consider taking advantage of CalvertHealth’s Pathway to Nursing Program – an employer paid professional development opportunity in partnership with College of Southern Maryland’s (CSM) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program.

Students who enroll through CalvertHealth’s Pathway to Nursing Program will have tuition, fees and course materials covered for required prerequisite and ADN program courses. Upon completion of the program and licensure through the State of Maryland Board of Nursing, newly graduated RNs will agree to complete the one year nurse residency program at CalvertHealth plus an additional year of service (two year commitment after RN onboarding).

At this time, the application for the Pathway to Nursing Program is closed. We anticipate opening the application form on May 1, 2025 for the Fall 2025 academic semester.
